JOM PROJECT UPDATE

The floor plan has been finalized!!! We are presently working on exterior elevations and site plan drawings. None of this could be possible without the in-kind donation from Grif Broach, who is providing us with all the plans and engineering for this project.

PUT THIS ON YOUR CALENDAR...WE HAVE TENTATIVELY PLANNED A GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY FOR JANUARY 23, 2010. WE WILL KEEP YOU POSTED ON THE GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY AS WE MOVE CLOSER TO THAT DATE!

Today I received the final $675.00 donation towards our matching challenge of $20,000.00. I also received notice that the $20,000.00 matching challenge donation was dropped off at the First Baptist Church office. It is a beautiful thing to see God work through His people.

WOW...THE GROUNDBREAKING IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!

THIS WEEK KINGDOM BUILDERS RECEIVED $7,500.00 IN DONATIONS, WHICH LEAVES US ONLY $675.00 SHORT OF MEETING OUR $20,000.00 CHALLENGE!!!

When I heard the news today my mind went to Psalm 100...Praise God!

PSALM 100

Shout with joy to the Lord O' Earth.

Worship him with gladness.

Acknowledge that the Lord is God.

He made us, we are his, we are his people, the sheep of his pastures.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving.

Go into his courts with praise.

Give him thanks and bless his name,

IT'S OFFICIAL: As of 3:00 PM today we closed on Lot 8 (Jackson Drive) with Tommy Jackson and Tim Sheehan. With the help of the Jackson family, God has blessed us with a beautiful piece of property for the JOM project.

Today we received a $20,000.00 donation Challenge. The Challenge being an individual is willing to donate up to $20,ooo.00 for the JOM project (with no time constraints) if Kingdom Builders can obtain $20,ooo.oo in matching funds.

LETS GET BUSY, AND DO NOT FORGET TO PRAY, PRAY, PRAY!!!

Excitement is in the air as we move forward with the lot purchase (pictured above) on Jackson Way for the new "Just One More" (JOM) house. This beautiful piece of property for the JOM house would not be available if it were not for the kindness of the Tommy Jackson family.

Through an in-kind donation, the lot was recently surveyed by Whitlock Land Surveying, Inc. (Bud Whitlock). Tonight we are meeting with Keith, Dawn and Grif Broach (the Draftsmen) to start preliminary drawings for the new JOM house.

As I write this I stand in amazement of what God has done and will continue to do, as we move forward. Psalm 145: 3 Great is the Lord, He is most worthy of praise. His greatness is beyond discovery!

Where to start? God showed up in a big way for our 1st Annual Kingdom Builders Golf Tournament last Saturday (7-10-10)...beautiful weather,

awesome host (Placid Lakes Country Club), eighteen (4) man teams, amazing bunch of volunteers, good fellowship, delicious food. The bass boat drawing ticket was drawn by Khia Campbell...and the winner is... Gillie Russell, who in turn donated the boat back to Kingdom Builders, which was auctioned off for $3,500.00. Thanks Gillie Russell for your generous donation! It's days like this that give us the confirmation that God is in control!!! Hope you enjoy the Golf Tournament pictures.

Oh yea! the winning teams were:

1st Place: Carl Smith, Tommy Whitehouse, Logan Smith, and Ricky Carnahan.

2nd Place: Steve Davis, Mike Moore, Gary Williams, and Tommy Todd
