2-28-09 (Saturday)
God continues to work each day through many companies and individuals. W & W Lumber (Lake Placid) provided (at no charge) the complete interior framing package. With materials in hand Tom Wrenn (All American Hallmark Homes), Connor Wrenn, Ralph Thompson, Bo Seignious, and Bill Lewis completed the interior framing (another "in kind" donation).

This project is a great reminder of why Jesus called us to love our neighbors. What would the world look like if this was practiced by all?

The roof trusses are being installed today through the "in kind' donation of Mike Bevis (Bevis Construction).

2-20-09 (Friday)
Block walls are complete and trusses have been delivered!

2-17-09 (Tuesday)
Block walls continue to go up under the direction of Derrick Robinson (TMR Robinson Construction, Inc.).

Time flies, this morning Derrick and I were discussing our high school days, Derrick graduated in 1977 and I graduated in 1978. Thirty years later God uses a project like Grandma Bet's and our lives cross paths again. I am proud to call Derrick a friend and a true brother in Christ. Thanks Derrick for your "in kind" donation, it is a privilege to serve with you on this project.

2-16-09 (Monday)
It's Monday and God is at work! Bo Seignious along with Derrick Robinson (TMR Robinson Construction, Inc.) review the plans before Derrick, his crew, and other volunteers start laying block walls.

REMINDER: There is a meeting tonight at 7:00 PM (First Baptist Church of Lake Placid).

(2-10-09) More pictures of concrete slab being poured.

2-10-09 (Tuesday)
Mike Bevis (Bevis Concrete) along with his crew pouring the concrete slab for Grandma Bet's home. If we can continue to stay on schedule, concrete block will be delivered on Friday (2-13-09) of this week and Derrick Robinson (TMR Robinson Construction, Inc.) will start laying the block on Monday (2-16-09) of next week.

REMINDER: We have a Kingdom Builders meeting on Monday (2-16-09) at 7:00 PM (First Baptist Church of Lake Placid).

As we continue to share God's love, he has laid on my heart that we need to to pray for all those (whom we come in contact with through this project) who do not know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (Acts 1:8). After speaking with Grandma Bet today, we both came to realize the POWER of LOVE and PRAYER.

2-7-09 (Saturday)
These pictures where taken today...look at the progress we have made with God's servants in just one week. On Friday we had the slab termite treated by Clark Pest Control (Donald Clark). Donald Clark, like so many others has provided this "in kind" donation to see God's Kingdom be furthered.

This Monday Bevis Concrete will be pouring the slab. It continues to amaze me each day how God is using this project to touch the lives of so many people.

2-5-09 (Thursday)

God works today through C & C Plumbing and local volunteers. Pictures posted today show installation of below slab plumbing rough by: Gene Canevari, Carl Canevari, Matt Elliot, Walt Kohl, Edward Smoak, Edward Smoak Jr., and Jon Anderson.
