On Saturday a little after noon Grandma Bet walked into her new home only to discover a house full of people welcoming her with shouts of excitement "WELCOME HOME!" Little known to Grandma Bet, many friends, family, and project donators came together to celebrate her house warming. Tears of joy flowed from Grandma Bet's eyes and from many others in attendance. The only words Grandma Bet could say were "Praise God, God is good". I must admit that as we watched the Grandma Bet Story DVD clip, tears came to my eyes, too.
There is a part of me and many more Kindgom Builders members that are sad to see this project come to an end. But as I write this today, I can't wait to see what God has in store for KINGDOM BUILDERS. Grandma Bet's project is just the start of bigger and better things. What an awesome experience. Wherever KB's goes, count us in! Thanks for being obedient Scott! And thanks to Aunt B for her awesome faith and prayer!
I am so happy for this family. They are really wonderful people. Don is friends with some of the guys in this family. We wish that we were able to help with this project, but we are hopeful that the next time we will be in a place to help. Just keep us in mind.
